Can't set the compileSdkVersion to 24 in android

Documents says that compileSdkVersion should be set to 24 to use sdk in Android Studio. But Google Play requires targetSdkVersion 31 or higher and compilesdkVersion should be same or higher than targetSdkVersion . So, I can't set sdk. Please help me.

Hello there! Apologies for the late reply! I've asked our SDK team really fast and you are correct. You need to set it to 31 or higher. We need to update the documentation there to reflect this! Apologies for the inconvenience!
